Rhytidectomy: This
procedure is most commonly know as a facelift.
With the aging process, the skin of the face
and neck loses it elasticity. This results in
jowls and looseness of the neck skin. A facelift
is used to correct these changes in the lower
face and neck. The upper face and eyes are not
corrected with a facelift alone. However, these
areas can be treated at the same bye combining
a facelift with either a blepharoplasty and/or
a brow lift. On average a facelift lasts about
7 - 10 years but every patient is different.
